The Democrats Are Like 'Geckos'

Through an editorial in today's issue, the Arizona Republic expressed their support for Jim DeMint's proposal to put the Social Security surplus into personal accounts. At the end, they take the Dems to task:
In the face of Bush's faltering reforms, such boldness is stunning. The Senate plan puts into a new light the intransigence of Democratic reform-blockaders, who cling like geckos to a porch light to their alternative-empty battle cry that private accounts are "off the table." Great. Private accounts, as some Dems say, may be "risky." But just what part of "lockbox" don't they understand?
