Reality Check : Look at your W-2

As you sit down to prepare your overly-complicated tax return this year, be sure to pay extra attention to Box 4, Social Security Tax Withheld, on your W-2 form. SERIOUSLY, LOOK AT THAT NUMBER. Imagine the work that it took to make that money. Now consider the two options that are currently being debated.
1) Do you want that money going to the government with no guarantee of ever getting it back? Are you willing to forego ownership rights on it? Either by premature death, higher taxes, or lower future benefits, are you okay with the fact that you might never ever receive that money (or a large portion of it) back? 2) Do you want that money (or a large portion of it) going into a personal savings account? One that is YOUR money. You own it. You control the assets in this account and you control who will receive it upon your death.
Which option would you choose?
