Typical Media Bias
Media Research Center has a good look at how the usual suspects in the mainstream media conveniently downplay Alan Greenspan's endorsement of personally owned savings accounts, while overly focusing on the possibility of increasing the FICA tax on the evil rich. Besides their love of higher taxes, it's quite obvious that they are trying to stir up dissent among Bush's base by making it appear that he wants higher taxes in much the same way that they used Bush 41's breaking of his infamous "read my lips.." pledge to reduce his support among Republicans in 1992.Posted by Kerry Kerstetter at February 18, 2005 7:30 PM | Print
