Americans for Prosperity today sent four politicians--champions of the do nothing caucus, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi--and AARP President William Novelli $50 gift certificates for Mattress Warehouse. These politicians have offered no plan to fix Social Security and oppose personal retirement accounts, so it seems that this is the best investment scheme they've come up with.
