Congress: Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Want to tell Congress to wake up and smell the coffee on Social Security reform? You can tomorrow! Students for Saving Social Security and For Our Grandchildren are sponsoring 'Coffee and Conversation', a bi-partisan discussion on the need for immediate reform. The coffee talk will be led by former Congressmen Tim Penny (D-MN) and Charlie Stenholm (D-TX) and will be attended by Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), Congressman Jim Kolbe (R-AZ), and Congressman Alan Boyd (D-FL). All students who are able to attend are invited to stay afterwards to deliver coffee mugs and the message 'Wake up!' to Congressional offices. I'll be there to make sure the Congressman hear that young Americans everywhere overwhelming support personal accounts. The event is tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7th at 10:00 am in the Mansfield Room of the Capitol building.
