Louis R. Woodhill

Louis R. Woodhill (55) lives in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Founders’ Committee of The Club for Growth and was Policy Advisor to “Judge” Ted Poe in his successful 2004 campaign for Congress in Texas’ 2nd District (defeating four-term Democrat incumbent Nick Lampson).

Louis is currently Chairman of the Board of Configuresoft, Inc., a Colorado Springs, Colorado-based software company that provides Configuration Compliance solutions for Windows networks. Configuresoft was ranked 33rd in the 2004 “Inc. 500”.

Prior to this, Louis was the co-founder and first CEO of Mission Critical Software (MCSW on the NASDAQ until it merged with NTIQ in May, 2000), a Houston-based software company that supplied systems management products for large organizations deploying Windows NT server-based networks.

Prior to the startup of MCS in late 1995, Louis served as COO of two other Houston-based software startup companies. Before that, he worked for 17 years in the oil industry after graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1970.
